Arrival

By: S. Davis

And now you arrive…

Really?

At a time when the storm is active; thunder and lightning at
the forefront

Clouds blocking out the sun

Rays are absent

Not now, right?

Dawn will present itself

When?

After the darkest time has had its moment

Perspective is to be gained with time

Will you be there?

Will I?

Happenings occur, they say, for reasons

I think to myself in quiet

Individuals come and go for seasons

This breeze feels nice, I cannot deny it

Everlasting?

Is anything?

Contemplation in abundance

Winds bluster as rain falls

Palpitations at a feverish pace

Settling

Calming

And now you arrive?
